Meghan Trainor recently stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to re-create her hit song “All About That Bass” while playing classroom instruments alongside host Jimmy Fallon and house band The Roots.
Fallon and The Roots are known for teaming up with artists to create stripped down versions of some of the hottest songs. Past collaborations have included Carly Rae Jepsen (“Call Me Maybe”), Miley Cyrus (“We Can’t Stop), Robin Thicke (“Blurred Lines”), Christina Aguilera (“Your Body”), Mariah Carey (“All I Want For Christmas Is You”), Idina Menzel (“Let It Go” from Frozen), and even the Sesame Street characters (Sesame Street Theme Song).
The stripped down version of “All About That Bass” is all kinds of awesome and will definitely have you jamming along in your seat.
